The Villa Rica Church of Christ is a congregation of God’s People dedicated to the restoration of New Testament Christianity. It is our desire to follow the Bible, and the Bible only as our guide in religious matters. The Scriptures teach that all believers should strive for unity in order to evangelize the world and glorify God (John 17:20; I Cor. 1:10; Eph. 4:1-6). Knowing that unity is possible when all believers take the Bible as their sole guide we seek to go back to the ancient order and follow the old paths (Jeremiah 6:16).
We invite our neighbors to work with us in restoring God’s original pattern for worship, belief and practice. When visiting our services you will find they are conducted in a simple and Biblical fashion. Our services consist of... prayers (Acts 2:42), preaching (Acts 20:7), singing (Ephesians 5:19), giving (I Cor. 16:1-2), and the Lord’s supper (I Cor. 11:23-; Acts 20:7) You will find a warm, welcome, and friendly atmosphere.
We believe it is the responsibility of God’s people to carry the gospel to the whole world (Mark 16:15-16). To help us in this effort we support mission efforts both domestic and foreign. A quarterly publication called the Restoration Herald is sent to a number of homes in Villa Rica, Temple, and Dallas. You can learn more about us by watching our television program entitled “Forgotten Truth” which airs on the Gospel Broadcast Network.
In the Great Commission Jesus said we are to... “teach them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:” (Matthew 28:20). To help in fulfilling this great work we conduct Bible classes for all ages. We meet on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
