St. Joseph is a diverse church family. We are a church with a great history, but an even brighter future as we seek to reach out through helping people become disciples of Jesus. We believe that our church is not just a place to go, but a people to join as a community. We welome you to St. Joseph in St. Petersburg, Florida in Jesus' name.

We believe that by complete and perfect obedience to God and by His suffering and His death, Jesus Christ obtained forgiveness of sins and the gift of His righteousness for all who trusted in God prior to the cross and all who trusted in Christ thereafter. Through living a perfect life and dying in our place, the just for the unjust, Christ absorbed and became sin and succumbed to our due punishment thereby satisfying the wrath of God against us.

About the truth of The Bible: We believe that although God in His fullness is beyond comprehension, He reveals in the Scriptures everything we need to know about Him, everything we need to know in order to be saved, and everything we need to know to live a godly life. We believe that the Bible is the final authority for all matters of faith, truth, morality, and Christian living.

About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
