Preparing to Visit With Us:
We know it’s not easy preparing to attend an unfamiliar church. “What will happen? Will they welcome us? What will they make us do? What do we wear? What do they do with the kids? How easy will it be to find?” are all common questions asked when visiting a new church. Let us ease this process for you.
What You Will Experience:
Here’s what will happen. We will welcome you cheerfully. We won’t make you do anything, just be yourself. We dress casual, though you may see the occasional bow tie from our pastor. Our kids remain in worship with us until sermon time, when they go to their own age appropriate classes.
Our worship services are a blend of contemporary and traditional, meaning we’re traditional in doctrine and contemporary in application, you could call it a contemporary orthodoxy. A typical service includes: a call to worship, prayer, singing, responsive readings, offering, announcements, expository preaching, and the Lord’ Supper (on the first weekend of the month). After the service you’ll have an opportunity to get to know the pastor.
