About Shepherd of the Hills Church

Located in the heart of Citrus County, part of the Nature Coast of Florida, Shepherd of the Hills is a warm and welcoming community of faith which is active in ministry throughout the county. A new parish (2011) it took but 16 years for the congregation to go from a bank lobby to our new facility on a hill, while being a beacon of faith to all who come.
Set above a new four lane hignway and visiable for quite a distance around, Shepherd of the Hills is a home to many ministries which reach out to those in need, while our stronge prayer and healing ministries build the body in faith and hope. Chapters of The Order of St. Luke the Physician (Nature Coast), The Order of the Daughter's of the King (Esther Chapter), our Prayer Shawl Mnistry, which comforts so many, and weekly healing Eucharists, all add to the power of the prayer life of this community.
The Light Shine Ministry, in cooperation with the Florida Humanities Commission and The Citrus County Chronicle, brings music, culture, speakers, history and entertainment, free of charge, to the county four to six times per year. Active in Cursillo, ALPHA and a very active and worshipping congregation, Shepherd of the Hill's spiritual nature shines brightly. Come and experience the love of Christ with us.
