About Our Father's House

WHO ARE WE?

Our Father's House is a body of believers distinguished by its belief in the inerrancy of the scriptures, the priesthood of the believer, and the autonomy of the local church.

We recognize the Lordship of Christ, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the worshipping of God in spirit and in truth.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?
The Holy Bible is the inspired and innerant word of God (II Tim. 3:16 – 17)

There is one eternal God revealed as Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit

God is our Creator, Sovereign, Almighty, Lord, Master, and Savior

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, coequal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine, quickens the lost, indwells each true believer in Christ, baptizes a person into the body of Christ, gives gifts to believers, empowers believers to be witnesses of Christ to others, teaches the Scriptures to believers

Baptism is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and faith to walk in newness of life in Christ

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby believers in Christ, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, proclaim the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming

Salvation from sin and hell is given to an individual freely by God’s grace
