About Kings Avenue Baptist Church
Established in 1979, Kings Avenue Baptist Church is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and is in agreement with the doctrinal statements found in the Baptist Faith and Message. We actively support missions with our time and finances, offer children a Christian education through Kings Avenue Christian Preschool, equip believers through various discipleship opportunities, and desire a Christ-centered worship experience. We are a family-oriented church with ministry opportunities for every age. Our vision is to be united in Christ and transformed by His love to bring our community into the family of God. To this end we will love God through worship, unite in fellowship, connect through discipleship, serve the Lord and others through ministry, and reach our community with the gospel
We are located in the heart of a fast growing Brandon, FL community along Kings Avenue. The Church is well known in the community for its Walk Thru Bethlehem presentation in the second week of December. This free community outreach event offers guests an opportunity to experience first century Bethlehem on the night of Jesus' birth.

Awana is held at KABC each Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 in the Cheever Family Life Center concurrent with the public school year. Registration is required; ages 2 years through 8th grade. Awana is an international children's ministry whose mission is to equip leaders to reach kids with the gospel and to engage them in lifelong discipleship. The name Awana is an acronym derived from 'Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed' as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
Vacation Bible School is held in the evening for one week in the summer. Registration is required. Please see our website for the most current details. www.bethekingsavenue.com
ELEVATE is our teen student ministry led by Kyle and Brittany Broda. We find this model of husband/wife leadership to be essential for our youth, as the spiritual challenges facing young men and women are often gender-unique.
ELEVATE's mission is to provide teens with solid, Bible-based support and instruction that directly confronts the adversities they will inevitably face as they endeavor to live for Christ in a morally deteriorating society. ELEVATE should be a source of refuge, understanding, forgiveness, confidence, and above all, truth.
ELEVATE meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 year round.
