About Homestead Church of the Nazarene

Homestead Church of the Nazarene, organized in 1927, has a long history of serving the community throughout these many years. That service has largely been as an enduring lighthouse at the southern tip of Miami-Dade County faithfully disseminating the message of God’s light, love, and hope for the individual and the whole world.
While the church’s history includes a number of pastors, Rev. W. L Chambers Jr. distinguished himself as the one who served the congregation for almost 60 years. Since his retirement in 2010, Rev. William L Chambers III has been lead pastor.
Our church offers weekly services in Spanish, led by Rev. Margarita Garay, and in Creole, led by Pastor Wilbert Noel.
Our campus is also the location of two other Anglo worshiping groups, independent of our own congregation.
