Welcome to Holy Cross
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We the family of Holy Cross in Southwest Orlando, consist of people of all ages, languages and cultural backgrounds who are called to be one in Christ. We have been invited by God to encounter Christ through conversion, and by our enthusiastic devotion to the faith, by our celebration of the Eucharist and the other sacraments, and in our life-long experience of faith formation, we seek to spread this good news, inviting others into our parish community
Empowered by the Holy Spirit and inspired by the example of Jesus Christ, we seek to become a stewardship community willing to commit to sharing our time, talent and treasure. As stewards of God's gifts we are called to encounter Christ in the service of the poor, the suffering, the vulnerable and the marginalized in our society.
To bring this vision to reality we will plan strategically, develop goals and objectives, and dedicate ourselves to joining in action for the glory of God and in fulfillment of His mission for our parish.
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

It is our hope that while you are part of the community of Holy Cross you will be nourished so that you can be transformed. Through active participation in this community you will grow on your faith journey, and in turn your presence among us will enrich and strengthen the life of the parish. Our prayer is that you will consider the ways in which you can become an active member of this community, using the gifts and talents God has given you to help build up God's kingdom.
