We believe that God's justifying grace in the gospel must not be separated from its sanctifying power and purpose. In fellowship with one another, we are to combat the spiritual forces of evil, especially with the Word of God and prayer. Although mankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by a condition of disobedience toward God called "sin." This condition separates us from God, and is the purpose of Jesus Christ coming to earth to redeem humankind.
