No matter what your story is, at Faith Presbyterian Church we believe that with God as the foundation, everybody can write a story of hope and success. Meet other believers from in and around Gainesville in Florida and make friends so you can enjoy the journey together. "The believers shared a common purpose, and every day they spent much of their time together in the Temple area. They also ate together in their homes. They were happy to share their food and ate with joyful hearts." Acts 2:46
We believe that spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, participating in weekly Connect Groups, and tithing are vital to our faith. We encourage each other in this things. We believe that this faith community is a movement and will continue to plant new sites to serve diverse neighborhoods in Gainesville, Florida. Don't stop. Never stop.
About Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. He is 100% God and 100% man. His physical life was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory to reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
About God's Solution: We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are, therefore under condemnation. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit.
