About Christ Episcopal Church
Our Mission Statement:We are loved and forgiven people who by the grace of God seek through love and service to accept everyone and to communicate friendliness, fellowship, and faith in God and know, with a lively certainty, that God's love makes all things possible.
Christ Church is a relatively small Christian congregation that is accepting, friendly, and very supportive of one another. We are welcoming to all people. We are a fun-loving and diverse congregation where families and individuals can feel at home. Christ Church is a place where people can use their talents and are openly encouraged to do so.
Our church family is deeply committed to Christ, our community, and our congregation. We seek to excel in providing spiritual and emotional support to those in need. We continually seek to create opportunities for our church family to reach out to others.

Children and Youth Activities
- Our YOUTH GROUP covers many ages and involves most all of the young people in the Church. Most of these young people serve as acolytes, sing in the choir (or even BOTH!), attend Sunday School on a (fairly) regular basis and meet weekly. They plan fun games for themselves, learn about Christ and his teachings, and try to do things to help others in our community.
Sometimes they even decide it's neat to cook & serve the after-service meal on Wednesday night.
Ministries
- Christ Episcopal Church Food Pantry
USDA is an equal opportunity provider.
Christ Church’s primary service to the poor centers around the church food pantry started more than 15 years ago. This ministry places our church in the midst of the community. Civic and religious organizations as well as individuals help provide donations of food and labor to prepare the food for distribution. Volunteers of all ages help shop, shelve, organize, and prepare the food. As an advocate for the hungry we are a partner agency with American Second Harvest of the Big Bend. Financial support comes from individual and group donations and grants requiring us to comply with federal guidelines and keep an accurate account of all funds.
