At Wesley United Methodist Church, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We really strive to be a church that meets people where they are, whether you've been following Jesus for many years or are just starting to investigate faith. Our hope is that you will discover Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford, Delaware to be a place where you can find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and discover the mission for your life.
We believe that the healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus and is included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples, and therefore, to every believer. Healing is a provision of Christ's atonement on the cross and is given as a sign that is to follow believers.
About God The Father: God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, Holy. It is in Him that we live, move and exist. God is good. He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
About Tenacity: Never give up - A river cuts through rock, not because of its power but because of its perseverance. 'Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
