Centenary UMC and Christ UMC in Laurel Unite

On September 25th 2016 Centenary UMC in Laurel welcomed 38 members who transferred from Christ UMC in Laurel which closed the end of June due to an issue with the structure of the building.

We have a Contemporary Service on Sunday mornings at 8:45. We have a praise tem leading the music. Sunday School is held from 9:30 to 10:30. We have two adult classed and a children’s class. At 10:45 we begin the Traditional Service. Special music includes the Choir and Hand Bells. We welcome you to come and worship with us.

There is a Bible Study on Tuesday evenings in Straughn Hall at 7:00. Bring your Bible, or use one of ours, and join us. You don’t have to attend every week, just as often you are able.

Tuesday afternoon, from 5:30 to 6:00 the Soup Social takes place in the downstairs. We serve soup, bread, dessert, and drink to all who want to join us. Come and bring your children as there is a Super Kids Time at 6:00 for a half hour. This is a time of fellowship, fun, and study for the children.

Come and feel the warmth that comes from loving Jesus as you become a part of our fellowship. There is always room for one more!
