Warm Christian greetings to you, and welcome to Berea Seventh-day Adventist Mission in Wilmington, Delaware. Berea Seventh-day Adventist Mission is a place where God is saving, healing and delivering souls from the bondage of sin. In a day and age when the Word of God is being watered-down, it is good to know that there are people reaching out to the world with Life Transforming Truth. Changing hearts and lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and the direction of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We believe that God reaches out to us in different ways. God is the Creator of the Universe and giver of all that is good. God is the Savior - appearing boldly and intimately in Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection - who shows us how to live, love, and be saved. God is the Spirit who makes a difference in us and enables us to make a difference in our world and in the lives of others.
About Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, Light from Light, God from God. He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified as an atonement for sin and He bodily rose again on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father where He reigns over all. He will bodily and visibly come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
About The Scripture: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21
