You are on the steps of the New Hope Baptist Church in Danbury, Connecticut, where the Rev. Leroy G. Parker is our pastor. No need to knock! Our doorbell chimes “Praises to our Lord.” Our welcome mat says that we are compassionate people anxious to share our good news and our blessings. Our greeting is prayer and our guest book is the Bible.Welcome to “The House of Hope”. We are so passionate about our joy and we want to share it with YOU! So come in and stay a while. Learn about our history and our ministries. We are an inclusive congregation. We are young, old, in between and diverse both culturally and racially. We embrace all with loving, genuine open arms.
In this house we experience thought-provoking, eye-opening opportunities to better understand our God and our Savior Jesus Christ. We are challenged to learn what ‘thus says The Lord’ and we are guided by our faith. We anxiously await your joining us on our spiritual journey.
