Warm Christian greetings to you, and welcome to Bakersfield Hillcrest Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bakersfield, California. Bakersfield Hillcrest Seventh-day Adventist Church is a place where God is saving, healing and delivering souls from the bondage of sin. In a day and age when the Word of God is being watered-down, it is good to know that there are people reaching out to the world with Life Transforming Truth. Changing hearts and lives through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and the direction of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
We believe that God reaches out to us in different ways. God is the Creator of the Universe and giver of all that is good. God is the Savior - appearing boldly and intimately in Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection - who shows us how to live, love, and be saved. God is the Spirit who makes a difference in us and enables us to make a difference in our world and in the lives of others.
About Observance: We believe that the church is governed by Christ's laws, exercises the gifts He gives through the Holy Spirit, serves one another in love, and seeks to extend the gospel to the ends of the earth. We believe that the local church meets on the Lord's Day, the first day of the week, in observance of Christ's resurrection
