About Revival Center Church of God in Christ

In 1969, God led Elder Nathaniel & Sis. Bettye Jones to uproot their family from their home in Dumas, Arkansas and move to, a then smaller city, Monticello, Arkansas some thirty miles away. Elder Jones and his wife Bettye believed God was calling them to start a new ministry and would prove Himself if they just obeyed. 1971, Mr. Jasper Jackson Sr., Bettye's father, renovated a burned-out mobile home to serve as their 1st church. 1974, Elder Jones, with a hand full of members, officially organized the church and named it the Revival Center Church of God in Christ under the leadership and then pastor Supt. Dr. A. L. Hunt Sr.
In 1998, Pastor Nathaniel Jones again felt the leading of God to pass the mantle of ministry into the hands of his youngest son and wife, Pastor Michael and Lady Tira Jones. The foundation laid by Pastor Nathaniel paved the way for the ministry to continue to grow and mature. The ministry has remained constant in its mission to develop and enlighten Spirit-led believers to accomplish the Great Commission through the application of God’s love.
God has further commissioned Pastor Mike and Lady Tira to lead men and women of God into the 21st century through utilizing the power and authority of his will. God has ordained the Revival Center Church Family as a light to the world through not only the study but also the application of His Word. This approach to church lends undeniable proof that we are true heirs of God and joint-heirs of Christ Jesus. Revival Center is a church on the cutting-edge of ministry that utilizes Word principles in economic and community development strategies. It is our belief that the will of God is that every man, woman, boy, and girl of God is commanded prosper and make proof of this promise in every area of their lives.
