About Hope Church of Christ

What We Believe

Jesus came to earth in order to bring people to God (John 3:16). As people become Christians, God adds them to Christ's church (Acts 2:47). God only adds saved people to the church, so we call ourselves the church of Christ because we are simply Christians--no more and no less. Our plea is for everyone to hear the message of the Gospel and submit to Jesus Christ.

We desire for everyone to set aside party lines and practices that divide people and simply be Christians. We also desire that everyone live in purity by avoiding those things God tells us are sinful. Adding to will not make us closer to God or each other. Taking away from it is no better! Let us turn to God in simplicity and purity, striving to worship, trust, and rely on our Great God in Heaven and not our own human wisdom and strength. We are the Hope Church of Christ simply because we are striving to be Christ's church living in Hope, Arkansas. Join us as we walk in pure, simple Christianity.
