What We Believe
The Bible is the true word of God given to us through the inspiration of His Holy Spirit - 2 Peter 1:21
The Creed set forth in the Westminster Confession. The Westminster Confession of Faith was adopted early as a statement of the doctrines of the denomination. It is still used in our churches. You can find a link to it on our Resources page.
God is the creator of the heavens and earth.
Form of Government
The Presbyterian form of government means government by elders or presbyters.
Our Name
The name Hickory Spring was chosen because a spring flowed through a large section of a hollow Hickory tree near the church.
