About Geyer Springs First Baptist Church

Our vision, what we believe God has called us to be, is expressed in three simple words: Live, Love, Reach.
Our desire is for each member to embrace Live, Love, Reach as a life focus.
LIVE FOR GOD – As His people, we seek to pursue a relationship with God by coming to Him for our salvation and by growing daily in our understanding and fellowship with Him. Our goal is to live a life that is pleasing to Him and that is a witness of His love and life to our world. (John 15:1-10)
LOVE OTHERS – Next to our relationship with God, our second priority is to love people. One of the ways Jesus said the world would know we are His disciples is that we would have love for one another. At Geyer Springs we seek to love each other as part of God’s family and to extend that love to a lost and hurting world. God has called us to demonstrate His love to people inside our church fellowship as well as to those outside we are called to reach. (John 13:35, I John 4:7, Matthew 25:40)
REACH THE NATIONS – Our vision is not just for us and our city — it is global. God has called us to carry the Gospel to all the world. All the world is both across the street and around the world. As we obey this calling from God, we seek to help every member find his or her place as we all work together to REACH THE NATIONS. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)
