About Barcelona Road Baptist Church
We are a congregation where God is exalted and praised through worship. Jesus reminds us that we cannot “live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). We are spiritual beings, and the longings of our hearts require spiritual nourishment. This need is met through regular worship that includes outstanding music and faithful exposition of the Word of God as it relates to life. Other Bible Study opportunities are offered on Sunday mornings in small group settings. You can decide the class you wish to attend.Folks from many different walks of life and diverse backgrounds and places make up our fellowship. Very quickly you will discover that we are a friendly, loving, caring congregation. You will get to know people on a first name basis and form lasting relationships. We minister to one another in times of joy and sadness and in all the experiences of life.
We are blessed with a wonderful group of teenagers and children. Our challenge is to introduce them to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and to help them grow and mature in their walk with the Lord. You may sense God’s leadership to assume a role in this important ministry.
Above all, we are a congregation committed to missions and evangelism. We are called to fulfill the mandate of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). We do this through praying, giving, and going.

Children and Youth Activities

We offer specialized learning classes for these age groups:
Birth - 2 years of age
Preschool - Kindergarten
Grades 1-3
Grades 4-6
Sunday Worship – 10:30am
Children K through 3rd grade are welcome to join their families in the sanctuary. They will be invited to come forward for a special Children's moment. During the adult sermon they are taken out to their own children’s church service.
A nursery is provided for children from birth to four years of age.
Wednesday After School – 3:30 to 6:00pm
Our All-Stars Children’s Ministry is offered when school is in session. Children K through 6th grade are picked up at Jessieville school when it lets out and bused to church. If the weather permits, we may stop at the park for outside activity. The program includes Bible stories and lessons, games, and crafts. An evening meal is provided. Buses leave to take the children home at 6:15pm.
Seasonal
Vacation Bible School is offered for a week during the summer to children K through 6th Grade. Each year is a different theme with coordinated Bible studies, crafts, outdoor games, snacks, and lively music.
Fall Festival is celebrated on October 31st with costumes, indoor carnival games and treats for all ages.
Transportation
Bus or van transportation is available for all activities if needed.
