About Ganado Presbyterian Church
-
The Ganado Presbyterian Mission was established in the early 1900's to provide Christian ministry, education, and healthcare. We are part of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a vibrant ministry of the Presbytery of Grand Canyon, located in northern Arizona. We are located in the historic town of Ganado on the Navajo reservation.
Ganado Presbyterian brings communities together to teach the Word of God through many special events such as our Camp Christmas, our annual Camp Meeting, our Singspiration and Pie Supper (churches across the Navajo Reservation where Christians worship the Lord with music), Easter services, New Years Eve evening service, prayer services and periodic special events.
The church youth ministry, currently seeking a volunteer to lead, offers a special room designated to house a small library of books and games that would be of interest to our youth.
During the summer months, volunteer work groups from various locations across the United States, come to Ganado to help the community by offering Vacation Bible School for children and adults, help the church in minor repairs to the church buildings and church grounds, and occasionally helping repair homes for elderly citizens in the area.
