SS. Cyril and Methodius Mission is a diverse church family. We are a church with a great history, but an even brighter future as we seek to reach out through helping people become disciples of Jesus. We believe that our church is not just a place to go, but a people to join as a community. We welome you to SS. Cyril and Methodius Mission in Kipnuk, Alaska in Jesus' name.
At SS. Cyril and Methodius Mission, we believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete as the revelation of God's will for salvation, and the supreme authority in all matters to which they speak. We further believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; that they are equal in every divine perfection and that they execute distinct and harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
About Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, Light from Light, God from God. He became incarnate by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified as an atonement for sin and He bodily rose again on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father where He reigns over all. He will bodily and visibly come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
