No matter what your story is, at Friends Church - Jeffrey Wall we believe that with God as the foundation, everybody can write a story of hope and success. Meet other believers from in and around Kodiak in Alaska and make friends so you can enjoy the journey together. "The believers shared a common purpose, and every day they spent much of their time together in the Temple area. They also ate together in their homes. They were happy to share their food and ate with joyful hearts." Acts 2:46
We believe that God created Adam and Eve in His image, but they sinned through the temptation of Satan, corrupting that image. As a result, all humanity is alienated from God and under His wrath and can be rescued, reconciled, and restored only through God's gracious work in Jesus Christ.
About God: We believe in one God who created all things and who exists in three persons (Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Acts 17:24-28: Matthew 316-17; John 14:9-10)
About Salvation: We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God; that it was purchased by Christ on the cross; that it is received through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or ritual; and that salvation results in righteous living, good works and biblically informed actions to bring about godly justice wherever we live.
