At Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit intimidating. We really strive to be a church that meets people where they are, whether you've been following Jesus for many years or are just starting to investigate faith. Our hope is that you will discover Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile, Alabama to be a place where you can find community, grow in your relationship with Jesus and discover the mission for your life.
At Dauphin Way United Methodist Church we believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of its guilt. He regenerates sinners, and in Him they are baptized into union with Christ and adopted as heirs in the family of God. He also indwells, illuminates, guides, equips and empowers believers for Christ-like living and service.
About God: God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has existed in three triune persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.
About Tenacity: Never give up - A river cuts through rock, not because of its power but because of its perseverance. 'Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus... who for the joy set before him endured the cross... so you will not grow weary and lose heart' - Hebrews 12:1-3
