At New Hanover Presbyterian Church, our Christian ministry provides opportunities to build strong relationships with people who are at a similar life point. Our congregation come from many different walks of life, each with a unique personal story. Together we are a family dedicated to making an impact through strong relationships and community service. We are here to help anybody seeking to answer the "why?" questions of life. We are passionate about friendships and doing good in our community in Mechanicsville in Virginia.
We believe that every human being is created and valued by God; therefore, people of every race, ethnicity, age, gender, background, ability and disability are invited to be a part of this faith community. We believe that we need each other. No matter who you are, it's a lot easier to follow God with friends than it is by ourselves.
About Sanctification: Sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God's Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ's character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
