Service Times
Sunday
10:30 AM - Sunday celebration starts with praise and worship. It is many times intense, and at times members of the congregation will have a Word or scripture that seems appropriate for the moment. We encourage altar calls, getting right with God, and working out your salvation, in a matter of speaking. This earthly life is only lived and loved once. Make the best of it. Get with Jesus.
Wednesday
7 PM - Cell groups meet on Wednesday , Thursday , or Fridays. These meet in homes, but sometimes in other places, like the beach, the park, or a different home. This is a time of close, personal interaction and ministry.

About Acts 2 Church
Casual ~ Contemporary ~ Family-Friendly ~ Spirit-FilledOur mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ: whether that means the unbeliever, the unchurched individual, or committed Christians who should always be continually growing in their devotion to Christ. Jesus is central to our very existence. We want to focus on His issues each day and in every way. He is what we are all about. Led by Pastor Bill Heffelfinger, Acts 2 Church offers ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We are currently a small, close-knit church family, but we are open to growth and to extending that family to others who need a place to belong.
Acts 2 Church was established as a charismatic Baptist church in Virginia Beach, VA in 1995 from a church plant by Bayview Baptist in Norfolk. We are still loosely affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, but you will find that in many ways we have the feel of a nondenominational church.
With only one service on Sunday mornings, our ministry focus is on small groups (life groups), which take place at various homes throughout the week. In this way we are doing life together. We also meet monthly on Tuesdays evenings as a church family for dinner, otherwise known as Together Tuesday, and for a variety of other activities and outreaches as scheduled.
Our casual Sunday service includes worship, fellowship, sermon, prayer, children's ministry during the sermon time, and a once a month full children's church. We hope that after you look through our website and attend a worship service, you will consider becoming a part of our solid community of faith.

Children and Youth Activities
- Acts 2 Youth Group
The Acts 2 Church youth group exists to create a safe place for middle school and high school students to grow in knowledge of who they are and who God is. Our desire is to cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and see that spiritual gifts are encouraged, affirmed, and celebrated in our students. We want to equip students with the necessary tools to continue on a lifelong journey within the body of Christ. Our prayer is to see the students of this church connect with Jesus, serve the local body, and grow stronger in their faith to empower them to be vessels of God’s love everywhere they go.
Schedule: Currently meeting the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 6-8pm at the home of Bryan and Lianne Stevenson. Email admin@acts2church.org for address.
