About First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church was established in 1905. For over a hundred years, many lives have been changed by Christ through the ministry of the church. God is still at work in Duke, Oklahoma.
Many people attend church to have their needs met. They want people to serve them. At FBC, we believe that God has called us to serve Christ by serving other people. This church exists "for the furtherance of the gospel" (Phil. 1:12). Our community and our world need Jesus. The church must be faithful to reach people and not just expect them to show up. We are by no means a perfect people, but we serve a perfect God, who deserves our best.
In order to experience the movement of the Spirit and the joy of our fellowship, we invite you to worship with us. If you are new to our area or a long time resident, we would love to have you be our guest for Sunday School and worship.
