Welcome to the First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor, Honolulu, Hawaii
We'd love to have you join us at First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor for this Sunday's morning service. We are just a few miles from Joint Base Pearl Harbor and Hickam, Fort Shafter, Tripler Army Medical Center, Camp Smith, and Sand Island Coast Guard Station. The church is located between Navy Housing (Halsy Terrace, Catlin Park, Radford Terrace, & Doris Miller) and the Salt Lake community.
Currently, we are a small congregation, but we have a large facility that can support a much large congregation. The First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor was founded to provide for the spiritual needs of the military personnel and their families stationed on Oahu. Our church is conveniently located between Halsey Terrace & Catlin Park Navy Housing and the Salt Lake community. After 50 years, our congregation still continues to be predominately military either active duty or retirees.
Our purpose is to go and make disciples of all people, baptizing then in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching all things Christ has commanded (Matthew 28: 19, 20a). We strive to achieve this purpose through the following: (1) Worship, (2) Fellowship, (3) Discipleship, (4) Ministry and (5) Evangelism.
