At Shiloh Baptist Church/ DC we believe that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. Because God chose the lowly things of this world, the despised things, the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, no human being can ever boast before him-Christ Jesus has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.

About God: God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has existed in three triune persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.

About Love: God is love. He loves us and wants for us to spend eternity with Him. He also wants for us to express His love to others by meeting them where they are in life with the message of salvation.
