About Christ Cathedral
-
First founded as St. Callistus Parish in 1964, the parish community moved in 2013 to the campus of Christ Cathedral. From an initial 700 families, Christ Cathedral Parish has grown to include more than 4,500 families. We welcome new individuals and families to worship with us.
Traditions that annually bring the community together include the Parish Festival, Pennies from Heaven, Summer Backyard Theology, Blessing of Easter baskets, Thanksgiving Brunch, Our Lady of Guadalupe Novena, celebrations for the Lunar New Year, and the Lenten Fish Fry.
Mass is celebrated in the Arboretum, located on the south east side of Christ Cathedral campus, off Lewis Street. The Cathedral is currently closed for renovation and is estimated to open again in 2016.
