About Athens Bible Church

Athens Bible Church is shepherded by Pastor William Hixson, we regularly meet on Sunday and Wednesday to worship God and enjoy Christian fellowship with one another.
We are a friendly congregation of young and old believers from a variety of countries and backgrounds. There are many single people, as well as a multitude of families.
On service days, children are plentiful at the Church. Biblical living and strong family values are promoted by the leadership and lay people and everyone is open and friendly to visitors.
Athens Bible Church draws people from all over Southern Ohio and even has many members who drive 45 minutes or more to attend. However, the reach of the Church goes far beyond Ohio with the numerous worldwide missionaries who are supported by Church offerings.
We also have a strong connection with the Chinese students from Ohio University and a broad outreach into the Athens area community with many local ministry projects.
